Brite Beginnings™ Early Learning and Childcare Centre is a family-owned centre celebrating over 25 years of service. Since our inception in August of 1994, we have been a valued member of the Blue Quill Community in South Edmonton. We provide a warm, trusting and safe atmosphere where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential in an environment that models excellence in Early Learning Education.
Life After the Alberta Child Care Accreditation Program
Recognizing Excellence in Child Care Across Alberta
Accreditation was a voluntary program which was committed to raising the standard of care children received in Alberta. It measured the quality of care provided against a set of standards and criteria that involved parents, educators, and operators in recognizing the level of excellence in their program.
In June of 2005, we were one of the first centers to received accreditation status from the Accreditation of Early Learning and Care Services, recognizing us to be a high-quality childcare facility. Every year, thereafter, we continued to maintain accreditation until its cancellation by the Alberta Government in April of 2020. Brite Beginnings will never lower our standards of care because accreditation does not exist. We were a quality center prior to accreditation, and we will continue to be a high-quality center after accreditation. That is our commitment to all the families and their children in our care.
Please come visit us! Visitors are always welcome. However, due to COVID-19, we are limiting the number of people entering the centre and ask that you call in advance to arrange an appointment with the director by contacting us. It is required that all visitors wear a mask and call before entering the building. Once greeted, you will attest to the absence of COVID symptoms, sanitize your hands, and sign in to our Visitor Log Book before moving past the entrance. This is the new normal, to ensure the health and safety of our children and Educators.
